Regional Offices
MAP has strengthened its international networking capabilities by opening up its first regional offices in Thailand and Indonesia.
The offices further expand MAP's reach in these regions where mangrove forests have been rapidly disappearing as a direct consequence of industrial shrimp aquaculture expansion and other unsustainable developments.
These regional offices play a key role in project coordination and enhance network communications.
MAP is looking toward establishing a Latin America regional office in Brazil in the near future.
