Members joining at the $35 level and above receive a free Children’s Art Calendar, while supplies last.
Please help us save the mangroves by making your tax-deductible contribution today.
Join the movement to avoid the environmental destruction caused by shrimp farming.
A unique way to spread the work about MAP's good works while sharing beautiful photographs of the mangroves.

Volunteer or Intern
MAP welcomes the contributions of volunteers and interns. Opportunities are in:
- Washington State, USA - college credit and stipends may be available
- Asia - associated with our Thailand regional office (self-supporting and funded candidates only)

Eco-tours to Support MAP
Two options to choose from:
Ibis Kayaking is proudly working with the Mangrove Action Project to support grassroots conservation projects in our home in Central America. The Padre Ramos Estuary & Nature Reserve is one of the largest contiguous mangrove estuaries left in Central America. MAP wants to make sure the mangroves are protected for humans in coastal communities and for diverse species of wildlife like egrets, crab, and boa constrictors. LEARN MORE
OR
When you book a John Gray SeaCanoe trip, say that you learned about JGSC through MAP's website. Also notify MAP at the time of booking your trip and JGSC will pass on the normal 20% booking commission our way.
Perhaps you have items you are no longer in need of and are looking to donate them to a worthy cause. MAP maintains a “wish list” of items that would help us better do our job.
Bequest through your Will
Designate MAP as the recipient of all or any portion of an estate through a Will or other estate-planning document. Contact your estate attorney for more details.
Donate Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Fund Shares
Transfer ownership of securities that have appreciated in value as a gift to MAP. Donate securities and avoid paying capital gains taxes on the profits, while the full value can be deducted as a charitable donation. For more information on transferring securities contact MAP.
