Earth Day Run
Magnuson Series proudly presents the Earth Day Run April 20, 2013 in Seattle, Washington. Come run and walk one of our many race distances and at the same time you can feel good about supporting the environment. This event takes action both locally and globally. Each finisher will receive a native sapling tree.
Over the years the Earth Day events have handed out thousands of trees that grow and sequester more and more carbon each year. We will also have an onsite planting location if you wish to plant your tree at the park.
The featured non-profit for this event is the Mangrove Action Project which has been restoring mangroves and coastal environs around the globe for over 20 years.
So tell your friends and come out for this great event!
Events are also planned in Tacoma and Bellingham, Washington.
