Now that you’ve seen the work that MAP is doing all over the world, you’re probably wondering ‘What can I do to save the mangroves?’ It may seem like a far-away problem, but your support is needed now! MAP depends on volunteer support and your involvement in our projects. Here are some suggested ways for you to get involved in the works of Mangrove Action Project.
Good Options for Children, Students, Teachers and Consumers:
Not all support comes in the form of donations (although we certainly don’t mind donations!). It can sometimes be hard for younger individuals to feel that they can make meaningful contributions without the cash to spare, but fear not! MAP has several options for non-monetary support:

Teachers and students are also encouraged to look at our different educational materials, such as the Marvelous Mangroves curriculumRead more
Join the movement to avoid the environmental destruction caused by shrimp farming, and join others in signing our Pledge to not buyRead more
Good Options for Individuals:
If you are feeling generous with your wallet as well as your time, MAP has a lot of avenues for individuals to contribute.

Please help us save the mangroves by making your tax-deductible contribution today. We encourage membership or monthly donationsRead more
If you’re something of a jetsetter, going on an eco-tour can be a great option. Not only are eco-tours a great way to spend a vacationRead more

Designate MAP as the recipient of all or any portion of an estate through a Will or other estate-planning document. Contact your estate attorneyRead more
Good Options for Individuals or Organizations
All of the above options are great for individuals, but organizations can also contribute to many of the same options. These include Joining MAP, Donating to MAP, going on a company-sponsored ECO-tour, buying MAP calendars for the office, or contributing older office supplies, just as a few examples. Other options, while perhaps good for individuals, may be better suited to a larger body, and are listed below.
