Ali holds an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from Trinity College Dublin and a BSc in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Oregon. She has academic and fieldwork experience across SE Asia, Africa, and Central America, where she has contributed to projects focused on wildlife behavior, habitat restoration, and community-based conservation. Alongside her focus on biodiversity, she is passionate about advancing gender equity in environmental conservation and fostering inclusive approaches to ecosystem restoration.
