Open For Submissions: Children’s Mangrove Art Contest 2024!
Calling all young artists!
**Submissions are now closed: Information on our next contest will be released in 2025 on our website and social media.
MAP invites children around the world to participate in our Children’s Mangrove Art Contest 2024! This creative and educational initiative offers young artists the chance to delve into the captivating world of mangroves, learning about their vital role in coastal communities and marine life while expressing their imagination through art.
Educating our youth about the significance of mangrove and coastal ecosystems is crucial for instigating long-term change. Through this contest, we aim to cultivate a lifelong appreciation and respect for the environment in the next generation of decision-makers.
Selected winning artworks will be featured in our 2025 art calendar, amplifying awareness of mangrove forests and celebrating the creative voices of our youth.
We urge you to spread the word about this competition among your local schools, teachers, homeschooling groups, youth organizations, and families. For further information or ideas on how to participate, please reach out to Monica Gutierrez-Quarto, our Art Contest Project Coordinator, at artcontest@mangroveactionproject.org.
